How do I Set up my Outlook Express?
1. Start the Program.
2. Choose Tools/ Accounts from Drop Down menu on the top.
3. Choose Mail from the Tabs on the top.
4. Click Add button (Right hand side), Mail.
5. Follow the steps:
a. Display name: e.g. John Smith or company name Nixen Master Ltd
b. E-mail address: office@nixenmaster.com (you'll have to type your e-mail address) (Next)
c. Choose POP3 or IMAP (Next)
i. POP3 – This protocol download all e-mails on your Hard Drive (Delete e-mails from server)
ii. IMAP – This protocol copy all e-mails from the servers (do not delete e-mails from the Server)
d. Incoming mail server: e.g. nixenmaster.com
e. Outgoing mail server SMTP: e.g. nixenmaster.com (Next)
f. Account name: your username
g. Password: your password (You can choose Remember password so you don’t have to type it in every time) (Next)
h. Finish
6. You will see the same window as before and your e-mail account added in the white box. Click twice on this new account.
7. Choose Servers from the tabs on the top.
8. Click My server requires authentication.
9. OK, Close.
10. The program will ask you to download Folder list from the server, click Yes.
11. The account is now set up.
12. You will see the name of this e-mail on the left side, click it to check your Inbox.
