What is the difference between POP3 and IMAP?
POP3-Post Office Protocol. POP downloads all emails to your hard drive, but there is still an option to have copies of them on the server.
IMAP- Internet Message Access Protocol. The emails stay on a server and could be accessed and manipulated by client email program as if they were downloaded.
